National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), also known as NAT Board, has released the official notification for Group A, B & C Various Post Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. A-12011/3/2025-Estb. A total of 53 vacancies have been announced across 5 different post categories — Deputy Director (Medical) (02), Junior Programmer (01), Junior Accountant (04), Stenographer (07), and Junior Assistant (39).
NBEMS is a premier autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Indiaresponsible for conducting postgraduate medical entrance examinations (NEET PG, FMGE, etc.) and maintaining standards in medical education across India. ✅ Post-Wise Eligibility Details
1. Deputy Director (Medical) – Group A – 02 Posts:
- Master’s Degree as per Medical Council Act 1956 (MBBS + MD/MS from a recognized medical institution)
- Relevant experience in medical examination / medical education administration preferred
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years as on 20 July 2026
- Age relaxation as per central government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates
2. Junior Programmer – Group B – 01 Post:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science / IT / Electronics with specialization in Computers
- OR BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications)
- OR DOEACC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Level Certificate
- OR Degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics equivalent qualification
- Age Limit: Below 27 Years as on 20 July 2026
3. Junior Accountant – Group B – 04 Posts:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) from any recognized university
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics / Statistics from any recognized university
- Age Limit: Below 27 Years as on 20 July 2026
4. Stenographer – Group C – 07 Posts:
- Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from any recognized Board in India
- English Shorthand: Minimum speed of 80 WPM
- English Typing: Minimum speed of 30 WPM
- Age Limit: 18 to 27 Years as on 20 July 2026
5. Junior Assistant – Group C – 39 Posts:
- Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from any recognized Board in India
- Basic computer knowledge preferred
- Age Limit: Below 27 Years as on 20 July 2026

📝 Selection Process for NBEMS Various Post 2026
Stage 1 – Written Examination (05-06 September 2026 – Tentative)
- Computer Based Test (CBT) / Written Exam as per post-wise exam pattern
- Objective type MCQ covering General Awareness, Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Post-specific technical knowledge
- Post-wise separate papers for technical posts (Junior Programmer, Junior Accountant, Stenographer)
- Admit Card available before exam from natboard.edu.in
Stage 2 – Skill Test (for applicable posts)
- Stenographer: Shorthand Dictation Test (80 WPM in English) and Typing Test (30 WPM in English) — qualifying in nature
- Junior Assistant: Basic Computer Proficiency Test — if applicable
- Junior Programmer: Technical / Programming skill assessment (as per notification)
Stage 3 – Document Verification (DV)
- Verification of all original certificates:
- Degree / Diploma / 10+2 Certificate & Marksheets
- Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS — if applicable)
- Age Proof (Date of Birth Certificate / Class 10th Certificate)
- Shorthand / Typing Speed Certificate (for Stenographer)

Stage 4 – Final Merit List & Appointment
- Final selection based on written exam + skill test performance
