Educational Qualification:
- Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) from any recognized board in India
- Must hold a valid UPSSSC PET 2022 Score Card (mandatory for all applicants)
Age Limit (as on 01 July 2023):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 40 Years
- Age relaxation as per UPSSSC norms for SC / ST / OBC / PH / Ex-Serviceman candidates

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially released the PMT (Physical Measurement Test) Admit Card 2026 for Forest Guard / Wild Life Guard (Van Rakshak) Recruitment 2023 under Advertisement No. 10-Exam/2023 for 709 Posts. The PMT Exam is scheduled on 15 June 2026 and the Admit Card was released on 09 June 2026. Candidates who qualified the PET Exam (result declared on 30 April 2026) can now download their PMT Admit Card from the official website upsssc.gov.in.
📝 Selection Process for UPSSSC Forest Guard 2023
Stage 1 – UPSSSC PET 2022 Score Card (Pre-Requisite)
- Valid PET 2022 Score Card mandatory for eligibility
- PET score used for initial shortlisting of candidates
Stage 2 – Written Exam (Mains)
- Objective type MCQ-based written examination
- Subjects: General Hindi, General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Environment & Forest related topics
- Conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT)
Stage 3 – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Running test: Males 25 KM in 4 hours carrying 10 KG weight; Females 14 KM in 4 hours
- PET Exam was held on 10-19 February 2026
- PET Result was declared on 30 April 2026
- Qualifying in nature — marks not added to final merit
Stage 4 – Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Measurement of height and chest (for male candidates)
- Must meet the prescribed physical standards
- PMT Exam Date: 15 June 2026
- PMT Admit Card Released: 09 June 2026
- Qualifying in nature
Stage 5 – Medical Examination
- Comprehensive health check at designated UP Forest Department medical centers
- Final medical fitness assessment before appointment
Stage 6 – Document Verification (DV)
- Verification of all original certificates including 10th, 12th, PET 2022 Score Card, category certificate, domicile, and ID proof
- Final selection based on merit after all stages
