University of Kota, Rajasthan has released the official notification for Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (SET) Examination 2026. Rajasthan SET is a state-level eligibility test conducted by the University of Kota on behalf of the Rajasthan Government to certify the eligibility of candidates for appointment as Assistant Professor in government and private universities, colleges, and other higher education institutions across the state of Rajasthan.

The Rajasthan SET 2026 is available for 23 subjects including Chemical Sciences, Commerce, Computer Science and Applications, Earth Science, Economics, Education, English, Environmental Science, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Law, Life Science and Biotechnology, Management, Mathematical Science, Music, Philosophy, Physical Education, Physical Science, Population Study, Psychology, and Public Administration.

The online application process opens on 14 June 2026 and the last date to apply is 15 July 2026. The fee payment last date is also 15 July 2026. The written examination is scheduled on 06 September 2026, with Admit Cards available before the exam. There is no upper age limit for Rajasthan SET 2026 — any candidate with a valid Master’s Degree with 55% marks can apply. ✅ Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognized University in India
  • SC / ST / OBC / PH / EWS candidates of Rajasthan: Minimum 50% marks in Master’s Degree
  • Candidates in the final year of their Master’s Degree can also apply provisionally, subject to passing with required marks before result declaration
  • The Master’s Degree must be in one of the 23 subjects available in Rajasthan SET 2026

Age Limit:

  • No Upper Age Limit — candidates of any age are eligible to apply for Rajasthan SET 2026 provided they meet the educational qualification requirement
