Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination 2025 for a total of 3522 Posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator (DEOs) across various Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Organizations.
The recruitment cycle for SSC CHSL 2025 has progressed through multiple stages — from the Tier I Exam (12 November 2025 onwards) to the Tier II Exam (10 April 2026). Now, SSC has released the Final Vacancy Details on 19 June 2026, the Tier II Answer Key, and the Option cum Preference Form (19-22 June 2026) — all of which are available at the official SSC login portal ssc.gov.in.

The Option cum Preference Form is a crucial document in the SSC CHSL recruitment process. After the Tier II Examination and Typing / Skill Test, SSC releases this form where qualified candidates fill their preferences for specific posts and posting locations based on their merit rank and category.

- Candidates can also fill their preferred states / regions for posting

- Visit the official SSC portal ssc.gov.in
- Click on “Login” and enter your Registration ID / Roll Number and Password / Date of Birth
- Go to the “Option cum Preference Form” link available after login
- Download the Sample Option Form PDF first to understand the format
- Select your preferred posts in order of preference (1st, 2nd, 3rd choice, etc.)
- Select your preferred states / posting locations in order of preference
- Review all selections carefully before submission
- Submit the Option cum Preference Form before 22 June 2026
- Take a printout of the submitted Option Form for your records
